The typical SHARP QA TESTING assignment follows these 5 key steps:
- Project Definition: Review with Client to identify key application(s) to be load tested, functional test scenarios to be run, simulated # of users, onsite/offsite testing, system builds/versions to be tested, etc.
- Detailed Project Plan: ObjectSharp develops detailed project plan, test strategy and time-line for review and sign-off by Client
- SMART LOAD TEST: ObjectSharp develops automated test script(s), load patterns, test mix, browser mix and network mix; Client supplies application builds; ObjectSharp runs automated test scripts and gathers test results
- Test Analysis: ObjectSharp analyses results as well as reviews potential problem area(s) in the application(s) being tested (and/or the system software/hardware being used); ObjectSharp delivers its test results and recommendations to Client
- Next Steps: Client makes Go/Nogo decision to fix/modify the application or system software/hardware as recommended by ObjectSharp and then perhaps to have ObjectSharp rerun the SHARP LOAD TEST to verify improved system performance
