DevCan 2004

I'm co-chairing two tracks of DevCan coming up in Setp/Oct in Vancover/Toronto (exact dates to follow) - see www.devcan.com for more.

I'm doing the architect track and web track. If you have ideas for content you'd like to see, or have a topic you'd like to present in either of those categories, send them to me. You don't have to be canadian, but it helps :)

I haven't heard any more about this event, nothing seems to be posted anywhere and the site no longer seems to exist. Is this something that is still going on or has it been killed off?

    Hey Don,

Craig here, we meet again in Blogland :)

devcan is still an exciting idea for us, and we want to ensure that when we do embark on it, it's done right. devcan is about celebrating and fostering the achievements of Canadian developers - we want to continue to do this. But, at this point, we're not certain if a conference is the correct way to do this. Our ultimate goal, and guiding principle is to remain loyal to developers using our technologies and to support them in the way in which they would like to be supported.

We've put off the two conference events happening in Toronto and Vancouver. These events may be rescheduled, but at this point no time has been set.

    I'll keep you posted.

Please feel free to email me directly anytime.

    Craig (craigfla@microsoft.com)
