About David
David Chennells is a Senior Consultant and the Business Intelligence Practice Leader at ObjectSharp. He has 12 years of experience transforming business data into actionable business insight. His expertise spans a very wide range:
- quantitative business analysis and visualization
- dimensional modeling, including OLAP solutions and associated data transformation
- real-time decision-support applications built on the .NET framework
- optimization using linear and non-linear models, and project management
David has considerable experience with the financial services industry, as well as retailing, manufacturing, and transportation. He has modeled various business domains including financial risk management, analysis and reporting; customer relationship management; supply chain planning and optimization; back-office business processes; and engineering and maintenance operations.
Recent Projects
David has completed consulting engagements with a host of major enterprises, including CIBC, London Life, Great-West Life, Shoppers Drug Mart, Briggs & Stratton, CN Rail, and Air Canada. He holds a PhD in social and political science from the University of Cambridge, as well as an honours BA from McGill University.
